Who are we helping

The project is designed to assist primarily children.

We are currently registering children that fit the following criteria.

-   Their life -style meets the definition of poverty *

-  Orphans with minimal support services in-situ

-   At ‘risk children’ / neglected children within the Kawe community

-  7-years old or younger. There are exceptions to this, however the Government cut-off age for entering school is 7.

* What is poverty?
“Poverty is deprivation of those things that determine the quality of life, including food, clothing, shelter and safe drinking water, but also "intangibles" such as the opportunity to learn and to enjoy the respect of fellow citizens. (wikipedia)”.

The WATOTO KWANZA project also assists those children with severe medical needs to seek the necessary medical assistance they need, whether it be internationally or within Tanzania or Africa.
